1. Tap Settings

2. Tap WiFi

3. Make sure WiFi is set to ON. If wifi is set to OFF, tap the OFF button to turn it on.

Once WiFi is turned on, it's easy to connect to Optimum WiFi. From the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad's desktop:

1. Tap Settings
2. Tap WiFi. Wait a moment as your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad detects the WiFi networks in range.
3. Find optimumwifi from the list of available networks (SSIDs) and tap it. If the network name is not 'optimumwifi' this is not an Optimum WiFi network and you should not attempt to connect.

4. Wait a few seconds while your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad connects. Once connected, a check mark will appear next to the optimumwifi SSID.

Also, the WiFi icon will appear in your phone's status bar at the top of the screen when it's connected to a WiFi network. It will show connection strength as well. So the more bars you see, the stronger your WiFi connection.

Once you've joined a WiFi network manually, your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad automatically joins it whenever the network is in range. If more than one previously used network is in range, your device will join the one last used.
